NFL World reacts to brutal Broncos injury news

Denver Broncos left tackle Garrett Bowles suffered a broken right leg during an ugly 12-9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts last night.

The former first-round pick would undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. The "best case" scenario for his injury time is six weeks.

The NFL world took to Twitter to react to this unfortunate news. "As if the weather couldn't be worse for the Broncos," one said.

Another fan wrote "Football player different man. Wym he broke his leg and can be back in 6 weeks. I've been out of the office for 6 years. I broke my leg,"

Another said, "Denver losing his left tackle is not going to make the rest of this season any easier."

Boles has been the Broncos opening left tackle since being selected by the team with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2017 draft. The former Utah lineman has made 82 starts in Denver.

Unless the Broncos play outside, third-year backup left tackle Calvin Anderson leads the depth chart. Veteran LT Tom Compton is still out with a back injury.
