Last Sunday, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady managed to play through pain against the Chiefs, but make no mistake, he's not at 100 percent right now.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport recently revealed that Brady is battling a minor rotator cuff injury. He suffered a shoulder injury after taking a hit from cornerback L'Jarius Sneed.
Ian said that Brady would be able to recover from this injury. However, the latest update from the seven-time Super Bowl champion isn't very encouraging.
The Athletic's Greg Aumann announced that Brady is not practicing this Wednesday. It is not clear whether this is a normal rest day or if he needs time to rehab for a shoulder injury.
"My shoulders are healing," Brady commented on his shoulder injury during the latest episode of the Let's Go podcast.
You know, there are just a few bumps and bruises, and I kind of hit that. Got some treatment today. Got a little bit last night. So I'm sure I'll be fine in the end.
Thank God to Alex, who has always been taking good care of me and has put me together and helped me through many obstacles and injuries over the years.
If the Buccaneers need Brady to rest for a few days to suit up on Sunday, they are most likely to follow through on that plan.
