Tom Brady reportedly has a 'big challenge' in potential divorce

After 13 years of their marriage, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have reportedly hired divorce lawyers that signal a possible end to the marriage.

Sue Moss, divorce attorney who was not linked to the star quarterback or supermodel, spoke to People about how timing can complicate matters especially for Brady.

"The big challenge for him is that everything will be determined at the height of his income," said the lawyer.

Moss said that Bundchen once earned more than Brady, but that his income has since exceeded that. Due time, the case will be determined based on earnings height.

Given the couple's fortunes, they have a lot of valuable assets to solve. People said they owned at least four residential properties, including a $17 million mansion in Miami's Indian Creek Gardens.

Page Six reported that Brady and Bündchen will share joint custody of their two children. Brady also has another son from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

After a brief retirement, Brady returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 23rd NFL season. The 2-2 Books will be looking to break a two-game losing streak against the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday.
